at the age of 21, the quiet child of the family had blossomed into a more confident person, despite going through the sudden death of her sister. it had been a stepping stone for her to grow.
her views on the rivalry between omerta and her own group, venetius, was that she’d rather be silent than be engaged in a fight between them. she liked to have more civil discussions, but those changed after the death of her sister, who had worked as a spy.
river had to undergo strenuous training, her heart determined and spirit intacted to make it as a top venetius spy. she wanted to work for what her sister had started, and she was going to do a damn good job about it.
